Regulatory Prosecutor Advocate for the Public Interest. Our client, a respected regulatory organization, is seeking a Regulatory Prosecutor to join its legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys advocacy, litigation, investigations, and professional discipline matters and mentoring staff.
The VP has a succession plan in place for this role so any leadership background is an asset. In this role, you will prosecute complex professional conduct cases, work closely with investigators and regulatory staff, and appear before discipline committees and tribunals. This position offers meaningful work that directly supports public protection and skilled accountability in Ontario.
Assess investigative findings and provide legal advice regarding regulatory and enforcement matters. Licensed lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. ~10 plus years experience in professional regulation,
administrative law, tribunal advocacy, regulatory enforcement , discipline proceedings, or litigation is a MUST ~ Strong hearing advocacy, negotiation, and legal drafting skills. ~ Sound judgment, professionalism, and commitment to procedural fairness and public protection.
