We are recruiting for a Resource Consultant - FT - (Temporary Up to 12 Months) - 75 hours per pay period (bi-weekly). The Resource Consultant will facilitate the integration of children with special needs into licensed pre-school programs and kindergarten classes within the District of South Muskoka.

Qualifications:

- Must have a diploma in Early Childhood Education preferably combined with a Resource Consultant designation.
- Must be a member in good standing registered to the College of ECEs.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience working with families and the special needs population in Community Preschool settings.
- The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess good organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to network with community resources.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- Must be available to work flexible hours.
- Must be able to provide a explicit vulnerable sector police check
