Position Overview

Supply and Demand is looking for a dependable and service-minded Restaurant Assistant to help keep daily operations organized and guests well looked after. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a team environment, pays attention to the details behind good service, and is comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities throughout the shift.

What You'll Do

- Help prepare the dining room and service areas before guests arrive
- Welcome guests and provide friendly assistance when needed
- Support servers and front-of-house staff during service
- Deliver food, beverages, dishes, and supplies to the appropriate areas
- Clear and reset tables while keeping the dining room presentable
- Keep service stations stocked with glassware, cutlery, napkins, and other essentials
- Assist with guest requests and communicate needs to the appropriate team member
- Help maintain a smooth connection between kitchen and dining-room operations
- Assist with basic food-service and preparation tasks when required
- Keep counters, tables, service areas, and workstations clean and organized
- Help with restocking and organizing restaurant supplies
- Support opening, closing, setup, breakdown, and cleaning duties
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace procedures

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience is an asset
- Friendly, professional, and helpful attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills




- Comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment
- Positive attention to cleanliness, organization, and presentation
- Able to manage different tasks throughout a shift
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative
- Quick learner with a robust work ethic

The Restaurant Assistant helps support that experience behind the scenes and on the floor by keeping service areas prepared, assisting coworkers, and helping each shift run smoothly from start to finish.

Pay: $17.60-$24.41 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 per week
