Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our vibrant retail team. Duties

- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning throughout the shift
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a diverse team of sales associates and cashiers to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
- Manage inventory levels through effective purchasing, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability
- Conduct recruiting efforts including interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees to build a strong team
- Handle payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote products and increase store traffic
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance

Skills

- Proven experience in supervising retail sales teams with strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and customer interactions




- Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems, cashiering, and sales management software
- Skilled in merchandising, pricing strategies, and store presentation techniques
- Ability to manage budgets, perform basic math calculations, and handle bookkeeping responsibilities
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, and performance management
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks such as payroll and inventory control
- Demonstrated ability to handle customer inquiries with professionalism via phone etiquette and face-to-face interactions
