NOC Job Title: Store Manage- Retail

1306278 BC LTD DBA Petro Canada, operating at 1100 Terminal Avenue N Nanaimo BC Canada V9S 5H8 is currently hiring one Store Manager.

Job Duties

- Plan, direct, and evaluate the day-to-day operations of gas station and convenience store, ensuring smooth business operations
- Analyze customer behavior, competitors, and industry trends through reports, surveys, and online data sources. Look for patterns in consumer demand and adapt accordingly
- Oversee, supervise, and assign duties to staff to maintain smooth daily operations and high service standards
- Regularly review sales data to determine best-selling products
- Introduce or phase out items based on profitability and customer feedback.
- Set competitive prices based on market research, cost of goods, and desired profit margins.
- Ensure pricing aligns with the company's strategy and remains attractive to consumers.
- Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability at favorable terms.
- Maintain inventory levels through a robust stock management system
- Design marketing strategies to build brand awareness and attract customers
- Use both traditional and digital marketing tactics, measuring effectiveness with KPIs
- Develop a comprehensive budget covering all operational costs. Monitor revenues and expenses monthly to ensure the business stays financially on track




- Assess staffing needs and hire qualified candidates
- Act as a point of contact for resolving customer complaints, service interruptions, or supply chain issues
- Train staff in conflict resolution and have an emergency protocol for shortages.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery
- Monitor KPIs and business performance, setting clear objectives and regularly evaluating progress
- Use communication platforms as required for task tracking and team collaboration.

Employment requirements Completion of secondary school is required.

2-3 years of verifiable management or supervisory experience in retail sector is required.

Excellent communication skills in English are required.
