Ensign Energy is seeking Rig Managers to oversee drilling operations and rig crews across Western Canada.

As Rig

Manager, you are the on-site leader responsible for safety, efficiency, and performance of the entire rig operation.

Responsibilities Oversee all rig operations and manage crew performance across both tours Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OHS regulations, and client requirements Coordinate with client company representatives and service companies Manage rig moves, inspections, and maintenance schedules Complete operational reports, cost tracking, and crew evaluations Lead safety meetings, incident investigations, and corrective actions Requirements Minimum 5 years drilling experience with at least 2 years as a Driller Valid Well Control certification and thorough well control knowledge Proven leadership ability and experience managing rig crews Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills All standard safety certifications (H2S, First Aid, CSTS, Fall Protection) What Ensign Offers Senior management compensation and performance bonuses Company vehicle and field allowances Full perks package with RRSP matching
