Join our dynamic team as a Sales / Estimator specializing in window coverings! You’ll leverage your sales skills and technical expertise to provide tailored window covering solutions, ensuring client satisfaction while managing the estimating process from start to finish.

Duties

- Engage with clients to understand their window covering needs, preferences, and budgets, providing expert guidance on product options.
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for window covering projects, including shades, blinds, shutters, and custom treatments.
- Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and contractors to coordinate project timelines, specifications, and procurement strategies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining transparent communication and documentation throughout the sales and estimation process.
- Preparing job quotes and creating invoices
- Answering phone calls and emails professionally




- Assisting walk-in customers and contractors with quotes and inquiries
- Supporting day-to-day administrative operations

Skills

- Proven experience in construction estimating, project management, or sales within the building or remodeling industry.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Have a post secondary education
- Have experience with completing quantity takeoffs
- Be able to read architectural drawings
- Have sound knowledge of construction term
- Strong understanding of measurements, including feet, inches, and fractions of an inch
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- Comfortable interacting with clients in person, by phone, and over email
- Experience with quoting, invoicing, or customer service is an asset
- Sales background is an asset
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
