ALPHASHINE

Toronto

Company Overview

ALPHASHINE is an automotive technology company specializing in subscription-based detailing services.

Founded in 2019, ALPHASHINE has grown across multiple Toronto locations with a mission to modernize the automotive service industry through technology, convenience, recurring memberships, and an exceptional customer experience.

We combine high-quality automotive detailing with proprietary technology and system automation to create a seamless experience for our members and clients. ALPHASHINE has partnered with leading automotive, hospitality, and lifestyle brands including Alfa Romeo, Polestar, Porsche, Maserati, Audi, The Ritz-Carlton, and The Hazelton Hotel.

As we continue to grow our locations, membership base, technology, and corporate partnerships, we're looking for ambitious people who want to help build the next stage of ALPHASHINE.

Our Culture

We operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where people are expected to take ownership, solve problems, and continuously improve.

We value people who are proactive, accountable, adaptable, collaborative, and results driven.

Our leaders are expected to understand what's happening at the ground level, support their teams directly, and contribute wherever necessary to achieve company objectives.

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, highly accountable, results-driven Sales Manager who will be directly responsible for generating revenue while leading and managing the sales team.

This is not a role focused solely on overseeing the sales team. The Sales Manager will be personally accountable for their own sales production, subscription generation, daily sales activity, and achievement of assigned KPIs, while simultaneously being responsible for the performance, discipline, and accountability of the entire sales team.

The Sales Manager is expected to be a true player-coach — someone who actively sells, generates memberships, develops B2B opportunities, closes business, and demonstrates the standard expected from the team.

At the same time, the Sales Manager will be responsible for ensuring every member of the sales team is meeting their daily, weekly, and monthly targets. This includes closely monitoring sales activity, attendance, punctuality, follow-ups, CRM activity, customer communication, and overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Personal Sales & Revenue Generation

- Personally generate revenue and subscriptions in addition to managing the sales team.
- Maintain individual sales targets and daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
- Actively prospect, engage customers, follow up with leads, present memberships, upsell services, and close sales.
- Take ownership of high-value, complex, or difficult sales opportunities.
- Demonstrate through personal performance the sales standards expected from the team.

2. Sales Team Leadership & Accountability

- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the sales team.
- Establish clear individual and team sales targets and ensure they are consistently met.
- Hold every salesperson accountable for their daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, coaching sessions,

and sales training.
- Coach the team on prospecting, follow-up, objection handling, upselling, membership sales, and closing.
- Set clear expectations and ensure team members understand exactly what is required of them.
- Take corrective action when performance, productivity, or conduct does not meet expectations.
- Ensure team members take ownership of their responsibilities rather than relying on management to constantly follow up.

3. B2C Sales & Membership Growth

- Personally contribute to membership sales and revenue generation.
- Improve lead conversion, follow-up, membership sales, upselling, and customer retention.
- Monitor lead response times and follow-up activity.
- Develop and test new scripts, offers, and sales strategies.
- Analyze daily sales activity and identify where additional action is required to achieve targets.
- Ensure the team remains focused on subscription growth and revenue generation throughout the sales cycle.

4. B2B Sales & Business Development

- Build and manage ALPHASHINE's B2B sales pipeline.
- Prospect dealerships, automotive groups, corporate fleets, hotels, property managers, rental companies, and other potential partners.
- Personally conduct outreach and participate in prospective partner meetings.
- Develop proposals, presentations, and partnership opportunities.
- Negotiate and close recent B2B accounts.
- Maintain and grow existing corporate relationships.
- Ensure B2B opportunities are actively progressed rather than simply added to the pipeline.

5. Daily KPI & Performance Management

- Establish and monitor daily sales activity expectations.
- Track individual and team KPIs throughout the day, week, and month.
- Monitor subscriptions generated, revenue, leads, conversions, follow-ups, upsells, cancellations, retention, and B2B activity.
- Take immediate action to correct performance gaps rather than waiting until the end of the month.
- Reallocate focus, coach team members, and increase sales activity when required to achieve targets.
- Be able to clearly explain what happened, why it happened, what is currently being done, and what the expected outcome is.

6. Reporting & Communication

- Own weekly and monthly sales reporting.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity.
- Provide leadership with clear and timely updates.
- Escalate problems when necessary, along with a proposed solution or recommended course of action.

7. Problem Solving & Ownership

- Identify problems before they become larger operational or sales issues.
- Develop solutions, implement them, and measure their effectiveness.
- Be perceptive enough to recognize when team members are struggling, disengaged, falling behind, or not following expectations.

8.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with Operations and Marketing to improve the customer journey and sales performance.
- Communicate sales trends, customer feedback, and operational issues to leadership.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure sales commitments can be fulfilled.
- Support company-wide initiatives and contribute wherever necessary to achieve business objectives.

9. Attendance, Punctuality & Workplace Accountability

- Maintain strict accountability for attendance, punctuality, schedules, and overall availability.
- Monitor attendance and address lateness, absenteeism, missed shifts, and attendance-related issues promptly.
- Lead by example by maintaining excellent attendance, punctuality, professionalism, and reliability.
- Escalate recurring or serious attendance and performance issues appropriately.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of progressive sales experience.
- 2+ years of experience leading, coaching, or managing salespeople.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated ability to personally sell and close business.
- Strong B2C sales and customer relationship skills.
- Experience with B2B prospecting, relationship development, negotiation, and closing.
- Demonstrated experience working with sales KPIs and performance targets.
- Robust leadership, communication, coaching, and accountability skills.
- Highly organized, disciplined, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and protocols.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, Excel, reporting tools, and sales dashboards.
- Able to manage multiple priorities without constant supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable holding people accountable for performance, attendance, and workplace expectations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience in automotive, hospitality, subscription businesses, consumer services, luxury services, SaaS, or other high-touch customer environments is considered an asset.
