Position: Sanitation Associate

Location: Nossack Fine Meats, 4951A 78th Street, Red Deer, AB, T4P 1N5

Job Type: Full-Time

Wage: Starting at $18.00/hour

Experience: 1–3 years (food processing industry preferred)

Minimum Education: High School Diploma

Position Objective:

To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in our food production facility in accordance with established sanitation procedures and industry standards.

We are looking for team members who are:

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that includes long periods of standing and walking, cold indoor temperatures, and moving equipment
- Flexible and willing to assist with additional tasks as needed
- Open to a structured onboarding process, including: 1-day orientation, 2-week review, 3-month and annual performance reviews.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Starting wage: $18.00+/hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Sanitize equipment, walls, floors,



and ceilings according to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
- Clean grease traps, drains, and sewer lines as needed
- Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and readiness of all sanitation tools and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures consistently

Qualifications:

- 1–3 years of experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment preferred
- Knowledge of or experience with industrial cleaning standards is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
