We are currently seeking qualified, dependable, and highly motivated Security Guards for both full-time and part-time positions to join our growing team.

Position Overview

As a Security Guard with Identigate Security Services Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, residents, visitors, employees, and properties. Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to security-related situations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a visible and professional security presence to deter unauthorized activity and enhance safety.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled patrols of buildings, parking garages, exterior areas, common areas, and other designated locations.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, alarms, and other security equipment.
- Control access to properties and verify residents, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and other authorized personnel as required.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, suspicious activity, and security incidents.
- Enforce site-specific policies, property rules, parking regulations,



and security procedures respectfully and consistently.
- Prepare accurate and detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, patrol reports, and occurrence reports.
- Provide professional assistance and customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, property management, and other stakeholders.
- Immediately report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activities, emergencies, and unusual occurrences.
- Cooperate with police, fire, emergency medical services, property management, and other authorities when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism while representing Identigate Security Services Inc.

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence – mandatory.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective under pressure.
- Previous two years (2) experience in security, condominium, residential, commercial, concierge, or customer service is considered an asset.
- Basic computer skills for electronic reporting, email communication, CCTV monitoring, and security systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.




- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Flexible availability for various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays, is an asset.

Compensation

$19.00 per hour
