Role: Security Engineer (Crowdstrike)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Toronto, ON --- REMOTE

Seniority Level - 8-10+ Years (Intermediate - Senior)

Required Skills:

- CrowdStrike Expertise: Deep hands-on experience configuring and managing CrowdStrike Falcon platforms, specifically:
- Exposure Management Module (Vulnerability & posture management)
- Custom Detections (Writing IOAs, IOCs, and customized behavioral detection rules)
- Automation (Falcon Fusion workflows and task orchestration)

Core Security Competencies:

- Vulnerability Management: Proven track record of identifying, scoring, and driving remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Application Security: Solid understanding of app sec principles, secure coding baselines, and application-layer threat mitigation.
- Security Operations (SecOps):



Experience working within modern SOC operational frameworks and alert triage.
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR): Robust background in host-level telemetry analysis, threat hunting, and agent management.
- Security Governance: Knowledge of security frameworks, policy enforcement, compliance, and control validation.
- Reporting & Metrics: Demonstrated ability to build meaningful, interactive dashboards and continuous visibility reporting for both technical teams and leadership.
