Senior Accountant

Location : Vancouver, BC

Salary : 70,000 - 80,000 / yr

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a leading public accounting and advisory firm. This individual will support a portfolio of private and mid-market clients by conducting audit and review engagements, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing trusted advisory services. The ideal candidate is a CPA with public accounting experience who enjoys building client relationships while mentoring junior team members.

- Conduct audit and review engagements for a variety of clients
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Evaluate audit evidence and assess account balances, revenues, expenses, and assets
- Review and investigate discrepancies within financial records and reports
- Perform client walkthroughs related to AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets




- Prepare working papers, reports, presentations, and client deliverables
- Establish and maintain charts of accounts and journal entries
- Build relationships with clients while supporting and mentoring junior staff
- Assist with inventory counts and support new client onboarding
- Participate in business development and identify opportunities for additional services

Required Skills & Experience

- CPA designation
- 2-4+ years of public accounting experience
- Experience performing audit and review engagements
- Solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS
- Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements
- Experience with accounting and tax software
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
