We are looking for a Senior Application Architect / Technical Lead to contribute to the design, evolution, and implementation of a large-scale digital platform.

The successful candidate will play a key role at the intersection of application architecture, software development, and technical stakeholders . Working closely with the Solution Architect, this person will take high-level architectural requirements and decisions, translate them into concrete technical requirements, application designs, patterns, and implementation guidelines , and communicate them effectively to development teams.

The role combines application design, technical leadership, architecture, and developer enablement , with a strong focus on Front-End architecture and Cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

- Work closely with the Solution Architect to understand business and technical requirements, architectural directions, and key design decisions , and translate them into transparent technical specifications and implementation guidelines for development teams.
- Act as the bridge between architecture and development , ensuring that architectural concepts, constraints, and decisions are clearly understood and consistently implemented.
- Guide and support developers in applying architectural principles, standards, design patterns, and technical guidelines.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve complex technical challenges encountered during implementation.
- Contribute to the definition, maintenance, and evolution of the target application architecture, considering scalability, availability, security, performance, and resilience .
- Design and evolve modern Front-End architectures using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Micro Frontend approaches .
- Define and evolve distributed Front-End ecosystems using technologies and patterns such as Module Federation, shared component libraries, and Design Systems .
- Translate business and technical requirements into application architectures, technical specifications, standards, patterns, and implementation roadmaps that enable development teams to move efficiently from design to execution.
- Design and recommend integration patterns using REST APIs, GraphQL, events,



and distributed architectures .
- Contribute to the design and implementation of Cloud Native solutions on AWS , including serverless services and Edge distribution capabilities.
- Lead application performance initiatives across the different layers of the platform, including the client, CDN, APIs, and serverless services .
- Analyze performance issues and identify bottlenecks affecting user experience, responsiveness, rendering, scalability, and platform reliability.
- Define performance standards, KPIs, monitoring mechanisms, and optimization roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple development teams and contribute to technical decisions, architectural standards, and technology roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end technical consistency.
- Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and release governance practices .
- Create and maintain application architecture documentation, technical diagrams, architectural decisions, standards, and implementation guidelines.
- Ensure that security, accessibility, high availability, observability, and performance principles are considered throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and approaches and recommend solutions that improve scalability, maintainability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Required Expertise

Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years of software development experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Senior Technical Lead, Application Architect, Principal Engineer, Technical Designer, or equivalent role .
- Significant experience designing and implementing application architectures in complex and distributed environments.




- Advanced expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Next.js, HTML5, and CSS3 .
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing Micro Frontend architectures , particularly using Module Federation .
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and distributed integration patterns .
- Strong experience with AWS and serverless architectures .
- Good understanding of microservices, event-driven, and asynchronous architectures .
- Strong expertise in application performance optimization, including Core Web Vitals, caching, scalability, and resilience .
- Good understanding of architecture principles related to security, Web accessibility (WCAG), and high availability .
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated delivery processes .
- Demonstrated ability to translate architectural directions and requirements into clear, actionable technical guidelines for development teams .
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify and explain complex technical concepts to different audiences .
- Ability to influence technical stakeholders and provide technical leadership across multiple development teams.

- Experience with high-volume, customer-facing digital platforms .
- Knowledge of SSR, SSG, ISR, and Edge Rendering .
- Experience with Storybook, Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress .
- Knowledge of Headless CMS and composable architectures .
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
- Experience with Design Systems, shared component libraries, and component lifecycle governance .
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and enterprise technology governance frameworks .
- Relevant certifications in architecture, Cloud, or related technologies.
- English-speaking or bilingual (French/English) .
