- Build and maintain developer environments (local, ephemerally, and cloud-based) that are fast, secure, and easy to use
- Define and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm to manage cloud resources and Kubernetes workloads
- Partner with engineering teams to standardize deployment, testing, and release workflows
- Improve platform observability, security, and reliability across the SDLC
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying friction points in the developer experience and delivering practical solutions
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related roles
- Robust hands‑on experience designing and operating CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar)
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration (Docker,
Helm)
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Python, or similar
- Experience working in AWS or other major cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles, testing strategies, and release management
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence platform standards across teams
Nice to Have
- Experience building internal developer platforms (IDPs) or self‑service tooling
- Familiarity with secrets management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault)
- Experience improving developer experience (DevX) at scale
- Background in highly regulated or security‑conscious environments
Who You Are
- Hands‑on engineer who enjoys building platforms other engineers love to use
- Passionate about automation, reliability, and developer productivity
- Comfortable owning complex systems and driving them forward
- Curious, pragmatic, and continuously learning
- A cooperative team player who values high standards and shared success
