On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Senior Digital Business Analyst & QA Consultant to support its Client Portal project. This person will bridge business and technology teams, translating stakeholder needs into clear requirements and supporting the testing lifecycle through defect resolution and go-live readiness.

Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements

- Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops and requirements validation sessions.
- Gather, analyze, document and validate business, functional, non-functional, data, integration, security, privacy, accessibility and operational requirements.
- Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, use cases and system specifications.
- Conduct gap analyses, feasibility studies and impact assessments.
- Maintain requirements traceability and manage changes, dependencies, assumptions and scope impacts.

Process & Service Design
- Analyze the end-to-end client journey, including application, eligibility, service delivery, contracts and matter closure.
- Develop current-state and future-state process models.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate and improve services.
- Define how clients will access information, complete transactions, submit documents, receive notifications and interact with the portal.
- Identify self-service opportunities while considering accessibility, digital literacy, language, privacy, security and usability.

Agile Delivery
- Work with the Product Owner, PM, developers, UX/UI, QA and business SMEs to develop and maintain the product backlog.
- Create and refine epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria and business rules.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews and demonstrations.




- Resolve requirements questions during development and validate delivered functionality.

QA & Testing
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, scripts and scenarios.
- Support system, integration, regression, load and UAT testing.
- Analyze results, log defects and support defect triage, root-cause analysis, resolution and retesting.
- Assist business testers with requirements clarification.
- Maintain test evidence, UAT records and sign-off documentation.
- Support implementation readiness, operational transition, training and change-management activities.

Required Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst on complex digital transformation, web portal, client self-service, case management or enterprise application initiatives.
- Strong experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating and tracing business and functional requirements.
- Experience translating complex business processes into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and testable outcomes within an Agile/Scrum workplace.
- Strong business process analysis and modelling skills.
- Experience facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting UX/UI design, user-centered digital services, testing, UAT, requirements validation and defect resolution.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, facilitation,



presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage competing needs and drive decisions in environments with complex business rules.

- Agile/Scrum certification
