Senior ERP Application Consultant

Rhodium Digital is seeking an experienced Senior ERP Application Consultant with deep functional ERP expertise and extensive experience with Deltek Vantagepoint. This role will serve as a senior consulting resource on complex ERP implementations, transformation initiatives, and ongoing client optimization programs across North America and the United Kingdom.

We are looking for a mature, highly capable, and client-focused consultant who can independently lead functional workstreams, translate complex business requirements into effective ERP solutions, and act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines deep ERP application expertise with strong business acumen, consulting leadership, process improvement capabilities, and the ability to operate confidently within complex organizational environments.

Role Summary

ERP Consulting and Solution Leadership

- Lead functional workstreams throughout the full ERP implementation lifecycle.
- Serve as a senior functional subject-matter expert for Deltek Vantagepoint.
- Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, process assessments, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live optimization.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable and sustainable ERP solutions.
- Evaluate alternative approaches and provide recommendations based on business objectives, system capabilities, and industry best practices.
- Lead complex application troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and ERP optimization.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients regarding their ERP environment and future-state capabilities.

Business Process Transformation
- Analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Lead current-state and future-state process assessments.
- Facilitate process redesign and ERP optimization initiatives.
- Identify system gaps, process risks, and opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, reporting, and user experience.
- Advise clients on best practices and practical approaches to business process transformation.
- Help ensure ERP solutions support broader organizational and operational objectives.

Client and Stakeholder Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership and key business stakeholders.
- Lead client workshops, demonstrations, requirements sessions, solution reviews, and working sessions.
- Communicate complex technical and functional concepts clearly to executive, operational, and technical audiences.
- Manage difficult or ambiguous requirements and facilitate alignment between competing stakeholder needs.




- Build long-term client relationships based on credibility, responsiveness, and business understanding.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities and proactively communicate recommendations.

Implementation and Quality Leadership
- Lead functional design and configuration activities for complex ERP solutions.
- Establish and maintain functional standards and implementation best practices.
- Oversee functional testing, UAT, defect management, data validation, cutover, and go-live readiness.
- Review functional deliverables for completeness, quality, and alignment with client requirements.
- Support integration design and coordinate with technical and development teams.
- Provide guidance during deployment, stabilization, and post-go-live support.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with professional services standards.

Mentorship and Team Leadership
- Mentor Intermediate and Junior ERP Application Consultants.
- Provide guidance on functional analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and client communication.
- Review deliverables and provide constructive feedback to consulting team members.
- Contribute to internal training, knowledge-sharing, and consultant development.
- Serve as a senior resource for complex ERP issues and escalations.

Practice Development
- Contribute to the evolution of Rhodium Digital's PLATINUM methodology, consulting frameworks, and implementation standards.
- Develop reusable templates, tools, documentation, and best-practice assets.
- Identify opportunities to improve consulting efficiency, delivery quality, and client outcomes.
- Support development of ERP service offerings and new capabilities.
- Participate in internal initiatives focused on operational maturity and consulting excellence.

Qualifications Required
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience working with ERP applications, enterprise systems, business analysis, or technology consulting.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or Deltek Vision.
- Deep understanding of ERP functionality and business processes across multiple functional areas.
- Demonstrated experience leading ERP implementations, enhancements, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience with requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing,



and deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead functional workstreams.
- Strong business analysis and process improvement capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong consulting judgment and ability to navigate complex organizational environments.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop less experienced consultants.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and client service.

Preferred
- Experience within professional services, engineering, environmental consulting, architecture, or other project-based organizations.
- Deep expertise in Project Accounting, Finance, Resource Planning, CRM, HRIS, or Operations.
- Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, workflows, automation, and enterprise reporting.
- Familiarity with Workato, UKG, Microsoft Business Central, Power BI, CRM systems, and enterprise reporting environments.
- Experience supporting organizational transformation and change initiatives.
- Previous consulting experience within enterprise software or digital transformation environments.
- Relevant ERP, business analysis, project management, or technology certification.
