You'll play a key part in ensuring claims are processed accurately and efficiently while providing guidance and support to team members. You'll work closely with Claims leadership, manage complex claims, assist with escalations, and contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is an excellent prospect for someone with claims experience who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring others, and making a meaningful impact on both team performance and client satisfaction.
Claims Management
Review and process complex claims accurately and within service standards. Validate and adjudicate claims with higher financial complexity. Investigate and resolve claims, payment, and banking-related inquiries. Manage escalated claims and support resolution of challenging cases. Utilize clinical and case management tools to support claim assessments and follow-up activities.
Customer Experience
Respond to escalated client inquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner. Partner with internal teams to resolve customer concerns effectively. Contribute to initiatives focused on improving customer satisfaction and service quality.
Training & Mentorship Support the onboarding and training of new team members. Share knowledge and best practices with Claims Administrators. Provide coaching and guidance to help maintain a high-performing team.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement Ensure all work is completed in accordance with service standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain strict confidentiality of personal and medical information.
Participate in team meetings, process improvement projects, and quality initiatives. 1-3 years of relevant experience in claims administration, insurance, healthcare, or a related field. ~ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. ~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. ~ Ability to interpret and apply health insurance policies and procedures.
Experience in the insurance industry and/or medical field.
Medical
Terminology certification is considered an asset. Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
