We are Systematix and we are currently seeking a Senior Identity Management Specialist for an opportunity with a public sector client. The ideal candidate must hold an active Government of Canada Secret (Level II) security clearance. This is a 14-month contract, expected to start in October 2026.
About the Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and support identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID in enterprise environments.
- Implement and maintain Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Identity Governance capabilities
- Integrate enterprise applications and services using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, Kerberos, and Active Directory authentication services.
- Implement and support Active Directory and Entra ID hybrid identity integrations, including troubleshooting authentication and access issues.
- Develop and maintain automation and integrations using Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell, and related scripting technologies.
- Support Silverfort integration and operation, including authentication policy implementation and Active Directory security controls.
- Related activities and deliverables, as required.
About the Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), or equivalent IAM certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), or comparable industry certification.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience during the last ten 10 years in identity and access management, software engineering, systems engineering, or a combination thereof.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience during the last ten 10 years implementing Microsoft Entra ID solutions in enterprise environments.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience during the last ten (10) years implementing Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, or Identity Governance capabilities.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience during the last ten (10) years integrating enterprise applications using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, Kerberos, or Active Directory authentication services.
- Experience troubleshooting complex authentication and authorization issues in hybrid Active Directory and cloud identity environments.
- Experience implementing, administering, and supporting Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments integrated with Active Directory.
- Experience implementing identity and access management solutions, including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Identity Governance.
- Experience integrating applications and authentication services using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, Kerberos, and Active Directory integrated authentication.
- Experience developing identity automation solutions using Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell,
and troubleshooting complex authentication, access control, and identity integration issues.
- Experience administering enterprise identity security solutions, including Silverfort, certificate lifecycle management platforms, machine identities, service accounts, certificate-based authentication, within large public-sector or highly regulated enterprise environments.
Candidates must outline in detail how they meet the above requirements. Pay Disclosure The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:
- Junior: 0–5 years of experience - $40-75/hr
- Intermediate: 6–9 years of experience - $60-100/hr
- Senior: 10+ years of experience - $90-150/hr
Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
