Make a difference as the Director of Child & Family Services at Horelyu Dene Ts’edi Kue in Cold Lake, Alberta. This role involves strategic and operational leadership in service excellence. In this senior position, you will lead the enhancement and delivery of child and family services that reflect Indigenous culture and community priorities.
You’ll work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop policies and creative programs that meet evolving community needs. Your focus on accountability and partnership will strengthen relationships across various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic and operational advancements of DFNA programs
- Facilitate partnerships with community and government leaders
- Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams effectively
- Oversee financial resources and organizational accountability
- Ensure alignment with CYFEA and Bill C-92 compliance
Requirements:
- Seven years of leadership experience in child welfare
- Strong preference for a degree in Social Work
- In-depth understanding of Indigenous child services
- Experience in financial oversight and governance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
