Job Title: Senior Program Manager
Key Skills: Program Management
Experience: 12-15 Years’ experience
Location: United States
Coforge is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive execution across the platform roadmap for Hi-Tech clients, ensuring strategic initiatives are delivered with structure, urgency, and measurable business impact. This is a highly cross-functional individual contributor role that partners with Product, Engineering, QA, SRE, Data, Operations, Customer Success, Finance, Sales, and executive leadership teams. The role involves owning the operating rhythm for major AI and platform programs, including integrated planning, milestone management, dependency tracking, risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, launch readiness, executive reporting, and post-launch measurement.
Responsibilities include improving delivery predictability, accelerating decision-making, resolving execution blockers, and connecting roadmap delivery to business, customer, and operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Roadmap Execution
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate the AI platform roadmap into clear execution plans, delivery milestones, owners, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
- Create integrated plans that connect product requirements, engineering delivery, QA readiness, SRE readiness, operational rollout, support readiness, customer impact, and post-launch measurement.
- Ensure roadmap commitments are clear, realistic, sequenced, and visible across the organization.
- Identify gaps between strategy and execution early, then drive the conversations and decisions needed to close them.
- Maintain a solid operating model across quarterly planning, sprint-level execution, release planning, roadmap reviews, and executive updates
Cross-Functional Program Leadership
- Lead complex programs across Product, Engineering, QA, SRE, Data, Operations, Customer Success, Finance, Sales, and external partners.
- Build alignment when teams have competing priorities, unclear requirements, shifting timelines, or different definitions of success.
- Ensure the right people are involved at the right time, especially for technical design, customer-impacting decisions, launch readiness, compliance, supportability, and operational rollout.
- Partner with Operations to ensure the releases are ready for real-world delivery execution, not just technically complete.
- Create the structure needed for teams to move quickly without losing visibility, quality, or accountability.
Delivery Planning, Milestones, and Dependencies
- Own integrated delivery plans for major AI platform initiatives.
- Track milestones, critical paths, cross-team dependencies, decision points, risks, resourcing assumptions, and launch criteria.
- Anticipate bottlenecks before they affect delivery and drive resolution across teams.
- Ensure engineering, QA, SRE, product, and operations teams have shared visibility into delivery status and readiness.
Releasing Readiness and Launch Governance
- Own launch readiness for major platform releases, customer-impacting changes, mobile app releases, workflow changes, integration launches, and operational rollouts.
- Ensure operational workflows, SOPs, training materials, help content, support processes, and escalation paths are ready before launch.
- Define go/no-go criteria across product readiness, engineering completion, QA validation, SRE readiness, data quality, operational training, support readiness, documentation, customer communication, and rollback planning.
- Drive post-launch reviews that measure adoption, quality, operational impact, customer impact, and follow-up actions.
Metrics, Dashboards, and Business Outcomes
- Define program-level success metrics in partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, Data, Customer Success, and Finance.
- Track outcomes such as adoption, workflow usage, release quality, delivery cycle time, SLA impact, operational efficiency, customer impact, support burden, automation impact, and financial workflow accuracy.
- Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide clear visibility into program health, roadmap progress, launch readiness, risks, and delivered impact.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Operations, Supply Chain, Data Science, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience leading complex cross-functional software, platform, logistics, SaaS, AI, or enterprise technology programs will be strongly considered.
- Certifications in program management, project management, agile delivery, product operations, cloud, or process improvement are an asset, including PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, Secure, or similar credentials.
- 6+ years of experience in program management, technical program management, product operations, engineering operations, delivery management, or a related role in a software setting.
- Experience as an individual contributor leading complex, cross-functional technology programs without direct authority over the teams involved.
- Experience working closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, QA, SRE
/ DevOps, Data, Operations, Customer Success, and business stakeholders.
- Experience translating product strategy, PRDs, requirements, or roadmap themes into actionable execution plans.
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles, Agile / Scrum / Kanban practices, release management, QA validation, production readiness, and post-launch measurement.
- Strong technical fluency across modern software systems, including web applications, mobile applications, APIs, integrations, cloud services, data pipelines, observability, and production operations.
- Experience managing dependencies, milestones, critical paths, risks, escalations, launch readiness, and executive communications.
- Experience defining and tracking program metrics, KPIs, dashboards, release readiness indicators, and outcome measures.
- Strong written communication skills, including executive updates, decision documents, risk summaries, program plans, and launch communications.
- Strong judgment, ownership, organization, urgency, and ability to create clarity in ambiguous environments.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, final-mile delivery, supply chain, field-service software, marketplace operations, routing, dispatch, fleet operations, or operational SaaS.
