CSG Talent is partnering with a leading international engineering and project delivery organisation to recruit an experienced Project Director for a major mining EPCM project in Vancouver.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished project professional who has successfully delivered large, complex mining projects through the execution phase. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and assume overall responsibility for the project's technical, commercial, financial and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

- Leading large cross-functional internal and external project teams and potentially subcontractors or other PMs.
- Overseeing, motivating, and monitoring the performance of the team, ensuring quality and timeliness of assignments and roles, and addresses any performance gaps.




- Creating strong collaborative team workplace by establishing common vision, setting clear expectations and accountability
- Demonstrating capability of overseeing large-scale projects with responsibility for the full performance of the project (planning, directing, supervising and controlling all technical, fiscal and administrative functions).
- Manages execution, coordination, and implements regular reviews/controls to track project progress.
- Interprets and understands all of the key elements of the project schedule to identify adverse trends and take correction action.
- Applies forward planning with schedule to resource the project appropriately.

Experience required

- Extensive senior level project experience with a mining EPC/EPCM.
- Delivered on multiple projects at values of over $1billion.
- Cold weather experience.
