Requirements
- Lead overall project planning and execution from pre-construction to final handover, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and financial targets.
- Drive budget development and management in collaboration with pre-construction teams, ensuring accurate forecasting and proactive cost control.
- Represent the project in high-level meetings with owners, consultants, and architectural teams, supporting contract negotiations and building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Issue Letters of Intent to trade partners and oversee procurement strategy, ensuring compliance with internal processes and alignment with project objectives.
- Manage in office construction activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, safety standards, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate and supervise project documentation including drawings, RFIs, change orders, site instructions, and consultant reviews, ensuring accurate and timely tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and lead project team members, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary education in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with demonstrated success in leading high‑rise residential or similarly complex projects.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, including experience liaising with developers, architects, consultants, and municipal authorities.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, construction processes, codes, and quality control practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software, such as Procore, SharePoint, or equivalent platforms.
- Meticulous attention to detail in managing documentation, contracts, and change processes.
