Senior Project Manager – Heavy Civil Infrastructure

Location: Southeastern BC / Interior BC

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 + Full Benefits + RRSP Matching Position Summary:

We're partnering with a well-established civil contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager for a major bridge and transportation infrastructure project in Southeastern BC.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile heavy civil project, leading it from its current stage through to completion. You'll oversee project planning, execution, safety, commercial performance, and client relationships while mentoring a team of project professionals. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the successful delivery of a major heavy civil infrastructure project

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and overall performance

Provide leadership to Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Surveyors, and field teams

Ensure projects are delivered safely while maintaining the highest quality standards

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers

Oversee contract administration, change management, and claims

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies





Mentor and develop project management staff while promoting continuous improvement

Ensure compliance with OH&S; requirements, contract specifications, and quality programs Qualifications & Experience:

8+ years of experience managing heavy civil construction projects

Proven experience delivering bridge, transportation, or major infrastructure projects

Strong background managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and commercial performance

Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams

Knowledge of Ministry of Transportation and MMCD contracts is considered an asset

Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is an asset Key Competencies:
