About Us
Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer for a contract opportunity. The successful candidate will provide senior-level expertise in the development, configuration, integration, enhancement, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of enterprise ServiceNow solutions within a complex organizational environment.

Position Summary The Senior ServiceNow Developer will design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations across a broad enterprise platform. The role will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions while following ServiceNow development best practices, ITIL principles, Agile methodologies, security standards, and platform governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SAM Pro, SecOps, HRSD, SPM/ITBM, BCM, Crisis Management, AI Control Tower, Service Portal, and custom enterprise applications.
- Gather and analyze requirements and translate business needs into epics, user stories, technical designs, and development tasks.
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable ServiceNow solutions using platform best practices.
- Develop and maintain forms, tables, catalog items, record producers, workflows, Flow Designer solutions, business rules, client scripts, notifications, ACLs, portals, dashboards, and reports.
- Design, develop, and support integrations between ServiceNow and internal or third-party systems using APIs and approved integration patterns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, defects, incidents, and enhancement requests, including root cause analysis.
- Perform unit testing,
support system and user acceptance testing, maintain test evidence, and remediate defects.
- Support releases and deployments, including change records, implementation plans, validation activities, rollback procedures, and knowledge transfer.
- Maintain technical documentation covering requirements, technical designs, configuration changes, testing, deployments, and operational support.
- Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and support teams in Agile delivery and project governance activities.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience as a ServiceNow Developer, including design, development, implementation, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions.
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow product lines in large, complex organizations.
- Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow workflows, service catalogs, portals, scripting, reporting, integrations, and platform automation.
- Strong experience troubleshooting and resolving ServiceNow platform issues, defects, and incidents in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated experience documenting requirements, technical designs, configuration changes, testing, and deployment activities.
- Experience with JavaScript, Flow Designer, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, REST/SOAP integrations, import sets, transform maps, and update sets or equivalent deployment approaches.
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices, Agile delivery methodologies, ServiceNow platform governance,
development standards, release management, and maintainability considerations.
- Must be based in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Must be eligible to obtain Reliability Status, requiring a minimum of five years of verifiable personal history.
- Strong English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple ServiceNow product lines, including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SAM Pro, SecOps, HRSD, SPM/ITBM, BCM, Crisis Management, and AI Control Tower.
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with ServiceNow Service Portal and custom enterprise applications.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and technical communication skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise release management, deployment governance, and knowledge transfer.

Compensation
Salary Range: $90.00 - $110.00 / hour

- Contract opportunity with an initial 12-month term and an optional 24-month extension.
- Full-time engagement at 37.5 hours per week.
- Remote prospect available to candidates located in Canada.
