Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Software Developer role is based in Windsor, ON.

The Senior Software

Developer designs, develops, and maintains scalable software solutions across the fintech and related product ecosystem.

Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, performing code reviews, debugging complex issues, and ensuring system reliability and performance. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, as well as contributing to architecture decisions and best practices.

Developer is also expected to mentor other developers,



participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and stay current with emerging technologies relevant to the studio’s platforms.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in software development and programming (for example, experience with modern languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar).
- Candidates should possess solid skills in software architecture and design (including experience with microservices, APIs, and scalable, cloud-based applications).
- Candidates should possess skills in full-stack or backend development (such as experience with web frameworks, databases, and integration with third-party services).
- Candidates should possess skills in testing and code quality (including unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and adherence to coding standards).
- Candidates should possess competencies in collaboration and communication (working effectively in cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, and mentoring other developers).
- Beneficial qualifications include experience in fintech or related industries, familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, and exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
