Server & Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and versatile Server & Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service both on the floor and behind the bar, maintain the highest food and beverage safety and sanitation standards, and help create a welcoming, high-energy dining experience. This role involves taking food and drink orders, preparing and serving cocktails and beverages, handling cash transactions, and thoughtfully upselling menu items and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction.

Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or bartending is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems. This position offers the opportunity to build strong skills in customer service, mixology, food handling, and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit, whether at tables or the bar
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff
- Prepare, garnish, and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to recipe and presentation standards
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining quality, temperature, and visual appeal
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash-handling duties
- Follow all food safety, beverage handling, and sanitation protocols during preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness of tables,



dining areas, bar top, service stations, and bar equipment in accordance with sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items, specialty cocktails, and promotions to maximize sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Assist with basic food preparation or bar prep tasks as needed and support kitchen and bar staff during busy periods
- Manage time efficiently to serve multiple tables and bar guests promptly without compromising quality
- Address guest inquiries, preferences, and concerns professionally to ensure a positive experience

Experience & Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or bartending environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic cocktail preparation
- Ability to perform basic math for accurate cashiering and transaction handling
- Experience with food preparation, serving, mixology, or hospitality operations is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
