Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and experienced Server/Bartender to join our team!

We are an Indian food bar and restaurant offering a vibrant dining experience with great food, cocktails, and hospitality. We are looking for someone who is experienced and passionate about customer service and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Welcome and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Know cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Provide recommendations to guests on food and drinks
- Follow responsible alcohol service and food safety procedures
- Work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders, payments, and cash handling accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns promptly to enhance their experience
- Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and closing out shifts with proper cash handling procedures
- Follow food safety protocols related to food handling, serving, and alcohol service to ensure a safe environment for all guests

Experience

- Minimum 1–2 years of restaurant experience as a Server, Bartender,



or in a similar hospitality role is preferred
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar is required
- Knowledge of bartending and drink preparation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Responsible beverage service certification is an asset
- Experience with Indian cuisine is an asset, but not required
- Positive attitude, reliability, and solid teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Basic math skills for cashiering, making change, and managing tabs accurately
- Experience in the food industry that demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality
