Duties

- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Touchbistro POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Clear tables promptly and reset for new guests, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Support the kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Assist with cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and giving correct change
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities




- Maintain excellent guest services by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously
- Follow all sanitation protocols to ensure food safety standards are met consistently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume service times
- Basic math skills for cashiering, handling cash transactions, and managing tabs accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within the food industry
- Experience in serving or bussing tables in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction
