Server (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Position Summary

Broadway Café & Grill is seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Servers to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional dining experiences by delivering excellent customer service, accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming dining experience.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
- Accurately take food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Monitor tables to ensure guests have everything they need.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests courteously.
- Process payments and operate cash, debit, and credit transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, patios, and service stations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation,



and workplace health & safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
- Support restaurant events, large group bookings, and special promotions when required.

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant serving experience is an asset but not required.
- Smart Serve Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when required.
