Join our dynamic team as a Server/Cashier at Ignite Pizzeria North Vancouver! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face greeting guests, taking orders, and delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll handle cashiering duties with precision, manage food and beverage service seamlessly, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, credit card transactions, and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist in food preparation and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, workstations, and food handling areas in compliance with health regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order accuracy and timely service, supporting overall restaurant efficiency

Qualifications





- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and transparent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
