Server

- - - In the role of Server, reporting to shift supervisor, you will provide exceptional customer service that our customers will remember.

Primary Responsibilities

- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Assist customers regarding menu items, in an informative and helpful way
- Serve all food and beverage items at the assigned work stations
- Have full knowledge of beverage and food menu
- Have full knowledge of all menu items being served
- Maintaining service areas
- Clearing tables and providing quality service to our customers
- Responsible to ensure all our customers leave with a positive dining experience
- Be aware of all health & safety procedures, including Emergency Evacuation
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage




- Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
- Developing & cultivating solid working relationships with all customers & colleagues alike
- Performing other duties as assigned or directed by the shift supervisor.
- Perform cash out functions at the end of each shift.
- Maintain professional appearance.
- May be required to perform opening or closing duties.

Requirements

- Ability to focus attention on customer needs, remaining calm and courteous
- Must have ProServe
- Must have a sense of urgency
- Handle customer complaints with professionalism and respect. Inform supervisor of any complaints.
- Patience, teamwork, diplomacy, trustworthy, confidence, works well under pressure.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a food and beverage server or equivalent experience.
- Some work with a point of sale system an asset.
- Bartending experience a plus!
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have employment eligibility in Canada
- Must be able to work flexible hours when required (days, evening, nights, weekends and holidays)
