Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, tables, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and professionally
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed to support smooth restaurant operations




- Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong knowledge of the food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that enhances guest experiences
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the hospitality industry
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and inventory purposes
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact confidently with guests
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued highly
- Basic kitchen experience helpful for understanding food preparation processes
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items naturally to maximize sales opportunities
