Mission Café is looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking server to join our team. We are a busy local breakfast and lunch restaurant serving our community seven days a week.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment, provides warm and attentive customer service, and works well as part of a small team. Previous serving experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Enter orders using the POS system
- Serve meals and check on customers throughout their visit
- Process cash, debit, and credit card payments
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages
- Set, clear, clean, and sanitize tables
- Complete opening, closing, and assigned side duties
- Restock serving supplies and maintain a clean dining area
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and coworkers
- Follow food-safety and workplace-cleanliness procedures
- Help coworkers when needed during busy periods

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous restaurant serving experience is preferred
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality




- Ability to remain organized during busy breakfast and lunch service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Available for a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- FoodSafe certification is an asset

Mission Café is open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Applicants must be available for morning and daytime shifts. The schedule may include both weekday and weekend shifts. Pay: $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
