Server Assistants & Hostesses – Full-Time

Sassafraz, one of Yorkville’s premier dining destinations, is currently seeking experienced and hospitality-driven Server Assistants and Hostesses to join our Front of House team on a full-time basis.

What We're Looking ForServer Assistants The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, organized, and understands the importance of supporting the entire service team.

Responsibilities include

- Supporting servers throughout all stages of service
- Maintaining tables, dining rooms, and service stations to Sassafraz standards
- Assisting with food running and clearing

- Ensuring tables are properly set and maintained
- Providing attentive and professional guest service
- Working closely with servers, bartenders, hosts, and management to ensure seamless service

Hostesses The ideal candidate is polished, welcoming, organized, and confident in managing a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities include

- Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival





- Managing reservations and guest seating
- Maintaining an organized and efficient seating plan
- Communicating effectively with management and the service team
- Managing guest inquiries in person and by telephone

- Creating a warm, professional, and memorable first impression for every guest

Experience You Bring
- A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a refined, upscale, or high-volume food and beverage environment

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be flexible and available to work full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Smart Serve certification is required or must be obtained

Experience with OpenTable or other reservation systems is considered an asset for Hostess candidates.

Pay: $17.60–$22.00 per hour, based on experience and position
