Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and food safety protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery,

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a solid understanding of the food industry
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and cash handling purposes
- Effective communication skills to interact seamlessly with guests and team members
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is a plus for understanding workflow dynamics
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including guest services, upselling techniques, and hospitality standards
