We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part time Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks to maintain a smooth operation within the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and answering any initial questions.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation as needed to support kitchen staff during peak hours.
- Handle cashiering duties, including processing payments and managing cash transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive dining experience for all guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food preparation and cashiering duties is a plus.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting is essential.
