Overview

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Serveur/Serveuse Expériementé(e) to join our dynamic restaurant team! Duties

- Provide friendly, professional service to guests, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly while maintaining high-quality service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including tables, utensils, and serving stations
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed in accordance with health regulations




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
- Demonstrate excellent guest services skills by addressing guest inquiries and resolving concerns professionally

Experience

- Proven food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving protocols and upselling techniques
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism
