Role:
As a Service Administrator at our Orangeville location, you will play an essential part within CanCrete by using your knowledge and skills to advise and assist customers with their rental and warranty needs while providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
Equipment Rental
- Answer customer inquiries and provide rental solutions and verify equipment availability through accurate inventory records, communicating with the Sales Department as necessary
- Prepare, send out and follow up on quotes to the customer in a timely manner
- Create and process rental agreements with accuracy
- Coordinate equipment pickups and communicate timelines clearly
- Take payments as needed
- Collaborate with the Service Department to address equipment repairs and maintenance scheduling
- Maintain supportive/productive relationships with customers
- Escalate customer feedback for appropriate resolution
Warranty
- Prepare, process, record and reconcile warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer policies and procedures
- Review repair orders for completeness, accuracy, proper documentation and warranty eligibility
- Maintain complete and accurate records for all warranty claims
- Monitor unpaid, rejected or returned claims; correct deficiencies and resubmit claims promptly
- Follow up with manufacturers to resolve claims’ correct deficiencies and payment issues
- Remain current on manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, bulletins and submission deadlines
- Maintain supportive/productive relationships with customers
- Escalate customer feedback (quality, price, lead times, stock levels, etc.) for appropriate resolution
Fleet Management
- Own the compliance components for CanCrete fleet, making sure scheduled preventative maintenance is planned and occurs
- Maintain accurate and complete records
- Monitor compliance with CVOR, logbooks and applicable transportation regulations
- Review violations, tickets and other compliance-related documentation
- Follow up with drivers regarding missing paperwork, incomplete logs, expired documents, etc.
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma although post-secondary education is an asset
- Forklift experience
- An understanding of concrete, construction, and concrete pumping would be an asset
- SAP system experience would be considered an asset
- Experience with GeoTabs would be considered an asset
- Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time and assignments
- Engages and operates with a high level of integrity and reliability
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Position may involve repetitive bending and an ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Valid G driver’s license

Pay: $28.34-$30.36 per hour
