West Side Acura is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our Service Department.
This position is well suited to someone who knows how to balance excellent customer service with the pace and demands of a busy dealership. You will work directly with clients throughout the service process, helping ensure they are informed, comfortable and confident in the care of their vehicle.
We are looking for a dependable, organized professional with strong automotive knowledge, excellent communication skills and previous dealership service experience.
What You’ll Do
- Greet clients and discuss their vehicle service and repair needs
- Create and maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
- Review technician findings and clearly explain recommended maintenance or repairs
- Prepare estimates and obtain client authorization before additional work is completed
- Keep clients updated on repair progress, completion times and changes to their service
- Coordinate with technicians, Parts and other dealership departments to help maintain an efficient workflow
- Review manufacturer-recommended maintenance and help clients plan for upcoming service needs
- Ensure completed work and documentation are accurate before vehicle delivery
- Build positive, long-term relationships through professional and attentive service
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of Automotive Service Advisor experience
- Previous automotive dealership experience required
- Working knowledge of CDK or a comparable dealership management system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a busy environment
- Comfortable using dealership software and other digital tools
- Acura, Honda or other premium automotive brand experience is considered an asset
