Position Overview

Fauna is seeking a dependable and attentive Service Assistant to help the restaurant team deliver smooth, well-organized service. This is a hands-on support position for someone who enjoys a lively dining environment, notices what needs attention, and takes pride in helping guests and coworkers throughout the shift.

Your Role

- Help prepare the dining room and service areas before service begins
- Support servers and front-of-house staff throughout the shift
- Deliver food, beverages, dishes, and service items to tables
- Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests
- Keep service stations clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Replenish glassware, cutlery, napkins, condiments, and other essentials
- Assist guests with basic requests and direct questions to the appropriate team member
- Help maintain a smooth flow between the kitchen and dining room
- Assist with transporting dishes and supplies safely and efficiently
- Keep guest-facing areas clean and presentable throughout service
- Communicate supply needs or service issues to supervisors
- Support setup, breakdown, opening, and closing routines
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety standards

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience is an asset
- Friendly, professional, and service-minded attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills




- Comfortable working in a busy dining environment
- Good attention to cleanliness, organization, and presentation
- Able to stay active and focused throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative

Pay: $17.60-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
