Playtopia is seeking a dynamic and responsible Shift Supervisor to lead our team during operational shifts, ensuring a safe, fun, and memorable experience for all guests. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience who loves working with children and families in a fast-paced environment.

Shift

Supervisors will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and maintain our high standards of safety and customer service. Weekends and evenings are required, with a focus on peak times like birthday parties.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coach front-line staff (including party hosts, admissions, and cleaning team) during shifts
- Oversee facility operations, including guest check-ins, party facilitation, and general admission flow
- Enforce safety rules and monitor compliance among guests and staff
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations to ensure exceptional service
- Coordinate party setups, food service, and cleanups with the team
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and facility inspections
- Assist with general park maintenance and cleaning as needed
- Monitor inventory for café/party supplies and report needs to management
- Lead by example in providing energetic, positive interactions with children and families





Requirements:
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a customer service, hospitality, or family entertainment setting
- Able to thrive in a high-paced, family-friendly environment
- Energetic, outgoing, and approachable personality with strong leadership skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and make quick decisions
- Customer service experience, preferably in a child-focused venue
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays (weekends REQUIRED)
- Successful applicants will be required to complete a criminal background check
- Standard First Aid/CPR Level C Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Safe Food Handlers Certification required (online training available)
- Experience working with children is a strong asset

**We are looking to hire part time and full-time individuals who are willing to work Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday - versatile schedule. Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
