Shop Hand for CJ-CSM Inspection Red Deer Pipe Yard
CJ-CSM Inspection is looking for a shop hand in our Red Deer yard. We are looking for an individual that is able to work independently while cleaning, inspecting, and grading pipe. Applicant will be required to to lift up to 50lbs, keeping shop and yard tidy and organized, and help with loading and unloading trucks. Position is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with a rotational after-hours/weekend on call schedule for loading/unloading trucks.
Experience is not required as we will train onsite, but an understanding of oilfield operations would be considered an asset.
Responsibilities: Cleaning and inspecting oilfield pipe and threads. Keeping shop and yard tidy and organized. Assisting with loading/unloading trucks. Maintaining inventory updates to shop boss.
Wheel loader operation in yard to load/unload trucks and move/organize inventory in yard.
Education: Oilfield experience considered an asset, but not required.
Additional Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Ability to operate a wheel loader would be considered an asset.
Wage: $22.00-$26.00/hr pending experience. Option to contribute into benefits and pension plan.
