$28–$35 per hour — based on experience

Exteriors 2NV is a growing Winnipeg-based exterior construction company specializing in siding, roofing, soffit & fascia, eavestrough, windows & doors, and new construction.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Hand Siding Installer to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can confidently install siding, lead a crew, train other employees, and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Install all types of siding, including vinyl, Hardie/fiber cement, engineered wood, metal, and other siding systems
- Lead and work alongside a siding crew on residential and commercial projects
- Train and mentor less-experienced employees
- Ensure siding is installed correctly, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Read plans, take measurements, and layout siding installations
- Properly install flashing, caulking, weatherproofing, windows, doors, corners, and other details
- Identify and solve job-site problems
- Help organize materials and keep the crew on schedule
- Maintain a clean and protected work site
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and the Exteriors 2NV team

Requirements




- Several years of professional siding installation experience
- Experience installing multiple types of siding
- Previous Lead Hand, Crew Lead, or senior installer experience is an asset
- Ability to train and direct other employees
- Strong knowledge of exterior construction
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
