Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Skid Steer/Baler Operator for min 20 hours per week. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a skid steer to load a recycling baler to efficiently manage material handling, recycling, and waste processing tasks. Your expertise will help ensure smooth operations, maintain safety standards, and contribute to a clean and organized work environment.

Duties

- Operate skid steer loaders with precision to load materials into a recycling baler.
- Use balers to compress recyclable materials, ensuring proper stacking and storage for transport or disposal
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on heavy equipment to guarantee safe and reliable operation
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas by removing debris and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Support manufacturing processes by handling raw materials and finished products efficiently




- Follow safety guidelines diligently during all operations to prevent accidents and injuries

Requirements

- Proven experience operating skid steer loaders and baler.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the shift
- Solid knowledge of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation practices within a manufacturing setting
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Valid certifications for forklift operation or heavy equipment (preferred but not mandatory)
