Our multidisciplinary pediatric clinic in Maple Ridge is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) to join our growing team. This role will focus on 1:1 support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodiversities, under the supervision of a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

- Implement individualized speech and language programs developed by the SLP
- Provide 1:1 therapy sessions focused on communication, language development, articulation, and social communication
- Collect data and track progress during sessions
- Prepare therapy materials and visual supports
- Support alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) systems as directed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including BCBAs, OTs, BIs, and caregivers
- Maintain transparent and organized documentation and session notes
- Participate in team meetings and training opportunities

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field.




- Experience working with children with Autism or developmental delays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and take direction from a supervising SLP
- Experience in a pediatric clinical setting is an asset
- Familiarity with PECS, AAC devices, visual schedules, and social communication strategies
- Background in early intervention or behaviour support
