We are committed to supporting players of all levels in enhancing their abilities and reaching their full potential. Founded by former professional futsal athlete Douglas Arienti, Skill Up Training brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for the game to every training session.

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Soccer/Futsal Coaches (male and female). As an Assistant Coach at Skill Up Training, you will support the Head Coach in delivering high-quality training sessions while helping create a positive and development-focused environment for players of various ages and skill levels.
Coaches may access up to 20 hours per week of training, depending on their role and stage within the coaching pathway. This is part of a structured development system that includes progression from Assistant Coach to Coach and then Lead Coach over time, based on experience, performance, and organizational needs. Work schedules are assigned based on individual availability and role level, with a commitment for the full season.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting futsal training sessions for groups of players.
- Support the implementation of training programs designed by the Head Coach.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to players to help improve their technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall performance.
- Help set up and organize equipment before and after sessions.
- Foster a positive, respectful,
and motivating training environment that promotes player development and teamwork.
- Ensure a secure setting by following all organizational policies and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical understanding of soccer/futsal fundamentals.
- Experience as a futsal or soccer player; prior coaching experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to demonstrate techniques and drills effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children and youth.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow as a coach.
- Coaching certification is considered an asset, but not mandatory.
- Availability to work evenings and/or weekends based on training schedules.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are assets.
