Hours of Work: 6-10 hours per week

Duties:

1. Create posts, videos, and photos to promote research within a department or faculty
2. Implement social media initiatives, such as live tweeting, Facebook live, Instagram takeovers
3. Support faculty to communicate and promote their research using various social media tools
4. Build and deploy a social media and marketing plan
5. Compile data to measure the impact of the content within the social media and marketing plan
6. Track and report online metrics
7. other relevant duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

1. Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively
2. Ability to work courteously with the public
3. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
4. Detail-oriented, strong oral and written skills
5. Some advanced training and/or specialized experience is required
6.



Experience creating and managing professional social media accounts is an asset
7. Graphic Design, Infographics and Video Editing experience is an asset
