About The Role Pelican Events is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Manager to lead the development and maintenance of its new intelligent catering management system. This is a full-time, permanent position designed for a professional who is passionate about leveraging technology to transform business operations.

As the Software Development Manager, you will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and efficient IT solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.

You will be responsible for managing daily development operations,



supervising a team of developers, analysts, engineers, and technicians, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Your role will also involve establishing IT policies, managing system integration, and exploring innovative solutions such as robotic process automation to optimize workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the technological future of Pelican Events and contribute to its ongoing growth and success.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software development is required, with a preference for candidates who have experience in business operations and project management.

Familiarity with a wide range of programming languages, coding processes, and current development software is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to assess complex applications quickly, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Business acumen and experience in managing IT projects and teams are considered valuable assets.

Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee daily software development operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Plan, forecast, and manage the budget and expenditures related to system development and maintenance.
- Supervise the development operations team, including analysts,



engineers, programmers, and technicians.
- Design, establish, and enforce IT system policies, procedures, and standards.
- Engage with clients and franchise partners to gather system requirements, define integration scope, and develop technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Coordinate multiple IT projects, including the design, deployment, and integration of new systems and services.
- Ensure compliance with hardware and software requirements through regular reviews and operational reports.
- Authorize the development of product and service specifications to meet business needs.
- Explore innovative automation solutions, including robotic process automation, to enhance operational workflows.
