Microsoft 365, Cloud, Server, Azure & Endpoint Migration THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Solutions Specialist to deliver technology projects for clients ranging from small businesses to large enterprises. You will work closely with team members and client stakeholders to implement solutions that meet business and technical requirements and align with industry best practices.

This role is focused on Microsoft 365, cloud services, server and Azure migration, and endpoint deployment and modernization, with strong attention to security, compliance, documentation, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Project Implementation: Install, configure, migrate, validate, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Azure, server, cloud, and endpoint solutions. Complete assigned technical tasks efficiently and in accordance with approved designs and project plans. Microsoft 365 & Cloud Delivery: Implement Microsoft 365 services across identity, collaboration, productivity, security, compliance, and device management. Support tenant configuration, hybrid integration, and cloud adoption activities.

Server & Azure Migration: Perform discovery, readiness activities, remediation, migration, testing, cutover, validation, and post-migration stabilization for server workloads and Azure services.

Endpoint Migration & Up-to-date Management: Implement endpoint migrations and modern management solutions using Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Windows Autopilot, configuration and compliance policies, application deployment, update management, and endpoint security controls.

Client Onboarding: Collaborate with external vendors and new client staff to support a smooth transition of IT services. Identify gaps where additional project work is required to meet support, security, and compliance standards.

Security & Compliance: Apply identity, access, endpoint, data protection, security, and compliance requirements throughout implementation and migration activities.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, implementation records, diagrams, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and knowledge transfer materials. Support a clear handoff to operational teams.

Project Collaboration: Work with project managers, architects, specialists, vendors, and customer stakeholders to manage technical dependencies, communicate progress and issues, and deliver assigned work on time and within scope.

General Qualifications & Skills

- Experience as a Systems Administrator, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Cloud Administrator, Endpoint Administrator, or similar technical role, with a proven history of successful project implementation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud, server, identity, endpoint, and hybrid environment concepts.
- Dedication to customer service and the ability to provide a positive client experience.
- Proficiency with security and compliance features and tools relevant to Microsoft cloud and endpoint environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing assigned tasks across multiple client projects.




- Excited about opportunities to travel within Canada. Valid Class 5 licence and access to a vehicle.

Specific Qualifications & Skills

Required Experience

- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, Microsoft 365 administration, cloud administration, endpoint administration, technical consulting, or a similar role, with a proven history of successful project implementation.
- Hands-on experience implementing, migrating, and supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, server, and endpoint solutions in business environments.
- Experience completing technical assessments, identifying risks or gaps, and executing remediation and migration activities.
- Experience collaborating with project managers, architects, vendors, and customer stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Microsoft 365 & Cloud

- Experience administering and implementing Microsoft 365 services, including Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with user, group, license, domain, authentication, application, collaboration, and tenant configuration activities.
- Knowledge of hybrid identity, directory synchronization, Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access, role-based access control, least privilege, and Zero Trust principles.
- Experience applying security, compliance, governance, retention, and data protection requirements within Microsoft cloud environments.
- Ability to use PowerShell or comparable automation tools to assess, configure, migrate, validate, and document environments.

Server & Azure Migration

- Experience assessing, configuring, and migrating Windows Server workloads and supporting services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file and print services, applications, storage, backup, and monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services involving subscriptions, resource groups, virtual networks, compute, storage, backup, recovery, monitoring, identity, and security.
- Knowledge of workload discovery, dependency identification, sizing, remediation, migration waves, test plans, cutover, rollback, validation, and post-migration support.
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud integration between on-premises infrastructure, Azure, and Microsoft 365.

Endpoint Migration & Modern Management

- Experience deploying and migrating Windows endpoints using Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra join or hybrid join, and Windows Autopilot.
- Experience implementing configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment, update policies, endpoint security, encryption, and device enrolment.
- Knowledge of user profile and data migration, pilot deployments, rollout waves, exception handling, validation, and end-user readiness.
- Experience troubleshooting identity, enrolment, policy, application, update,



and endpoint security issues.

Technical Quality, Security & Documentation

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including Identity and Access Management, Multi-Factor Authentication, Zero Trust, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response.
- Ability to diagnose complex technical issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, server, identity, endpoint, and network dependencies.
- Ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including environment assessments, implementation plans, migration runbooks, solution diagrams, standard operating procedures, and knowledge transfer documentation.
- Attention to detail in technical execution, testing, change records, task updates, time reporting, and project documentation.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Experience within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or multi-client consulting environment.
- Microsoft certification such as Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Endpoint Administrator Associate, or Identity and Access Administrator Associate.
- Experience with Microsoft migration tooling or third-party migration platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Arc, Azure Migrate, or related Microsoft platforms.
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and cloud governance solutions.
- Understanding of automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Graph, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, routing, VPN, firewall, wireless, and cloud connectivity.
