This position requires flexible availability (part-time/full-time positions both available) and reliable transportation to Tsawwassen. We are willing to train the right candidate who can start as a Line Cook and grow into this Junior Sous Chef position.

Responsibilities

- Assist the head chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality food production
- Prepare a variety of dishes with attention to presentation, taste, and consistency in accordance with menu specifications
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and hygiene standards to guarantee guest safety
- Manage inventory levels,



assist with ordering supplies, and monitor stock to minimize waste and control costs
- Support team management by training new staff, fostering teamwork, and maintaining a positive kitchen environment
- Uphold food safety protocols at all times, including proper storage, sanitation procedures, and temperature controls

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service roles within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and hygiene practices
- Familiarity with restaurant management operations and kitchen workflows
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
